A Christmas Tale Part 6

We got as problem Starlite
Send us help if you can
I think that what we’re needing
Is the strength of a good man

Is seems Joyce Green has run amok
For she loved old Rudolph’s nose
Now she’s chasing him round Santa’s place
Yelling “ You got to let it glow”

Dear old Rudolph let me take you home
Where the grass is always green
Where you can just graze year after year
Cause snowflakes are never seen

We’ve tried and tried to stop her
But it’s to no avail
Now Santa’s out there throwing fits
Cause she’s grabbing Rudolph’s tail

She has some plans to ride him
When he leads old Santa’s sleigh
She so good at GPS-ing
She’ll direct him all the way

While all of this was happening
Teddy, she was on the phone
Talking to her Momma
Saying Momma, please please come

Your little bear she’s crying
Unhappy as can be
Cause Auntie Jeri Spanked my butt
Now I can’t sit down you see

I’m getting scared too Momma
My big sisters are so mean
I took sister Dory’s turtle shell
She pitched an awful scene

My little butt it hurts me
It’s no fun in Santa’s world
I believe nobody loves me
Come and hug your baby girl

Well Mary Anne… she worried
Back there at the star
She knew that she should go to her
But the distance was so far

So she called up Good X-rifles
To come and take her there
Cause she can’t get there by herself
In her old beat up toilet chair

Her toot and scoot now is real old
From the last road trip it took
Traveling to those old pink wars
Drunk as an country coot

So X-rifles brought a limo
To convey her to the pole
So she could ride in luxury
Like a grand lady ...who’s old

One more time the magic happened
Underneath that northern sky
For she turned into an angel
Who was earth born,.. SHE CAN’T FLY

Still, she had arms to comfort
Words she knew could heal
And she hurried to her baby
Because her pain was real

Misty Maiden found a drum set
After she tried several out
The awful noises she produced
Made even Santa shout

You! Stop that awful banging
I can’t hear myself think
If you don’t... I’ll cancel Christmas
Quicker then a wink

Morning Song threw her hands up
Saying people can’t you see
There’s more then this to Christmas
Just listen and you’ll see

Come sit here in a circle
Then let me share with you
The words I'd like to send out
To Starlite and you too

*The spirit of Christmas is a living spirit
That unfolds the most amazing things…
The gift of love, the joy of giving,
And the tender blessings of peace.
May you now know this spirit of Christmas
May love be there to guide you.
May the gift of giving, dwell inside you.
And may peace be yours, through the coming year*

After she had finished
You could not hear a sound
It was like the peace of Christmas
Was floating all around

The sisters hugged each other
The couple Claus did too
And Santa said to Mrs Claus
Here what I think we’ll do

You go change clothes and I’ll change mine
Then I will take you out
And while we’re eating dinner
We’ll figure this big mess out

Mrs Santa did as she was told
Changed her dress … put on her hose
To look smart for good old Santa
She powered her big red nose

Meanwhile, throughout the turmoil
Poor Seante lay on her plate
Theodora was still shopping
So the cookie had to wait

Big Al was so tormented
An angel had appeared
I’m dreaming this... he told himself
She really isn’t here

Blind Poet was still pouting
Still hadn’t found her shell
Then Morning Song she found her
And spanked her butt as well

Santa had called the dentist
To bring new teeth for Doc
\When he saw her without them
He suffered a bad shock

And Marvin... tired of calling
Threatened he would come
He was tired of all the run-a-round
In the silly Santa’s home

Big Al... reduced to crying
So much craziness to see
Thought the last time I saw an angel
Was atop a Christmas Tree

I don’t know how I got here
Must less why I came
You all have got me so confused
I scarcely know my name

Now it’ Froggie’s time to go to sleep
So I’ll just run away
But you can be expecting me
Same time a different day

Cause this story is not over
It’s a regular epic tale
Will Santa cancel Christmas
Or will good cheer prevail?
