Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Share the Joy

Will you have a Merry Christmas,
remembering why we celebrate?
Will you keep it close and personal
or share with others of your plate?

Have you thought about the homeless ones,
how they will spend their day;
or do you judge them for their weakness
in not doing things your way?

Show an ounce of pure compassion,
if you can find it in your heart.
Have you really always chosen
to put the horse before the cart.

Your decisions are not faultless,
your choices not always right;
but you can make a sad life happy,
offering a spark of light.

Invite some lonely folk to dinner,
share the blessings you've been given;
there's a chance that, in return,
your life of sin will be forgiven.

Tell the Christmas story proudly,
it may bring joy to some sad soul;
the outcome would be remarkable
if you both were then made whole.
