FLEETING MOMENT
Snow falling outside window
As little flakes hit pane
Makes me remember yesteryear
But cannot go back again
When life was full yet carefree
Children round my knee
What a joy twas Christmas
Please bring it back to me
Four little faces
Four little hearts
Always and forever
Ne'er to part
Life back then seemed forever
One for all - all for one
Celebrating each Christmas
God sent his son ...
Who would have thought
Years down the line
Someone would be absent
It wasn't time

Years have slipped by now
Many other close calls
But it is Christmas
We still have it 'all'
Shall we just bow now
Thanking our King
For snowdrops; for Christmas
For the love each one brings

Looking back I'm remembering
One fleeting moment - it's gone
Life is so precious to have and to hold
