Laura Lei and Leopold Part IV
Laura Lei was taken close to shore for it was nearly twelve
The king was ecstatic as the hands of time went round

As stages of humanism began to consume her aching soul
The sea began thrashing and crashing with huge waves
And old Molokai was cast into a swirling whirlpool below

Down down, into a deep abyss never to be seen or heard again
In his company was the old voodoo man and his demonic ways

The locks broke and Leopold swam to the world above
With all the turbulence and devastation splashing round
Would he ever find his Laura Lei again, his one true love

As in a vision, he saw her lovely form drifting downward
Unable to swim the forceful churning of the waters

For in place of her long sleek tail he saw a useless pair of legs
In that very moment the clouds parted and the sun began to shine
Come back to me, my darling, come back he began to beg

Just as miraculously the storm had come and gone so fast
She began regressing, her long sleek tail had reappeared

Even though it was sad her father, the king, had to die
The kingdom is now ruled by Princess Laura Lei and Leopold
And the future heir to the throne, baby Molokai
