Some Cozy Place

The rain is softly falling.
How I love the pitter-patter.
I'll find some cozy place,
And nothing else will matter.

Just a quiet corner
Where I can doze and dream,
And listen to the raindrops
Quickly become a stream.

When I awake from napping,
I'll yawn and rub my sleepy eyes,
I'll find a world washed clean
Where sunshine fills the skies.

And when again the raindrops fall,
I'll snuggle in away from harm.
I'll welcome rain for I'll be sheltered
In some cozy place, safe in your arms.
