Stargazing

I search the stars for answers.
They silently observe my smallness.
Twinkling, it might seem they mock me,
Except their beauty is too pure.
I shall live far beyond the stars one day.
There, I will be able to look down upon them.
I will joyfully observe their vastness.
I will marvel in their brilliance.
There are too many to count,
So I will guess how many there are.
It will be a thrill for me.
I will never tire of their beauty.
I will be at peace.
