Ancient And Glorious ~ 'I AM'
shutting out everything that resembles religion
or the made up ideas of man
I am following the ancient One
The Holy and Mighty “I Am.”
He said He would send His Spirit
To lead and guide our ways
So, only trust the Eternal One
Not the things man has to say
He promised that He would lead us
And teach us all of His Truths
So, I will not doubt His care for me
No, I will not doubt His Worth
As I look up into the heavens
I know with assurance, He is there
There is a promise He put in my heart
That tells me of His Care
We are supposed to get together
To Worship and Praise His Name
Not to focus on money
Or to seek our own kind of fame
He is My Light in the darkness
He is my reason to be
I just have to tell you
That He loves both you, and me
So, when you abide in darkness
And sadness is settling in
Look up! For your Redemption is waiting
For you to turn to Him
Things will not always be easy
You may not have all you think that you need
Remember, this life is not all that there is
I would rather in Him, be Free!
