No One Stands Alone

YOU OUGHT TO SEE HER FLY!

Burned clean from sin in a bed of pain
Our lovely angel lies
Though she’s not left this earthy vale
She got heaven in her eyes

She’s whispered her last prayers to us
Told us we must stand strong
For she hears her Jesus calling
Now her stay here won’t be long

No more she’ll walk the Starlite Halls
Where she shared her love so free
Where she taught us to be better souls
Then we ever thought we’d be

Her lessons were pages from her life
Where she’s known such grief and strife
Where she talked each day to a loving God
Lived his sharing plan for life

She shared her love... her heart ...her song
And we blossomed as we read
We gained in faith and true belief
From every word she said

Whispers in flight.. she would say her songs
Were Gods words ..formed in her ears
That he told her to write them down for us
To assuage all our earthy fears

Soon now, she’ll leave for the wondrous place
Where no one stands alone
She’ll exchange this sad and blue café
For a marvelous heavenly home

Join hands with me and help me pray
One of her favorite prayers
Then keep her memory ever fresh
Though you live a hundred years

*Like a king you may live in a palace all alone
With great riches to call your own
But you won’t find a thing in this old wide world
That’s worse then being alone

Lord, hold my soul... every hour ...every day
From here to the great unknown
Please, never let go till you let me stand
Where no man stands alone*

Tell me my friends.. How could anything be more beautiful

Then our own sweet angel with magnificant wings unfolded

Neath the glorious vault of heavens skies

Let us all bow our heads and breath a quick prayer

For mercy and goodness on her journey home

For Starlites own little whispers in flight

A selection in unrhymed verse

* to * Paraphrasing a well loved hymn
Where no man stands alone
