Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Into The Deep

A bright, flowing mass, beautifully blue
Menacingly stared her in the eyes
The nervous feeling she could not subdue
As it overcame her with butterflies

The glossy mass did not stand in her way
Nor did the competitors placed at her sides
If she would win or loose they could not say
Only the clock on the wall could decide

She focused herself, from the world she withdrew
She stepped fearlessly onto the block
Her heart skipped as the starting whistle blew
She sprang foreword racing the clock

With a graceful kick she broke the surface
Sprinting, flipping she beat the clock, breathless
