Greater is He...

Any good you may have seen within me...
a cheeky smile, a glow which lit my face;

nothing special...only that which must be
present where abides His wondrous grace.

He Who ordained my life gives warmth and light,
the awesome sun which shines by light of day;

yon silvery moon, a-glowing in the night
and twinkling stars, amongst which cherubs play.

Remember me as witness, if you must,
knowing of the new life I was given;

so when it's ash to ash and dust to dust,
grasp with both hands that joy by which I'm driven.

Without this frame, my spirit will be free
to sing His praises for eternity.
