My Little Distraction

You a distraction, in my way.
You were just for show, just a display.
Dear, I've just been using you.
So I said, we are finished, we are through.

Though things turned out as I expected,
But my little distraction, you left me infected.
Now your sadness is all around, everywhere I look.
You fell for my trap, but you caught me on your hook.

Your smarter than I thought, my little distraction.
You tricked me good, you got your sweet satisfaction.
You left me weak just like a child, I ended up falling for you.
But you, just like me, said- My little distraction, we're through.

Is this what I deserve, for my cruel little game?
I'm left alone again, and it's all just the same.
My little distraction, how'd you know?
Could you read my eyes, or did I take it too slow?

I should of known,
This would be war zone.
I should of guessed,
You would protest.

Well, I've got something to say, my little distraction-

You think you real cool, real tough?
I laugh because you really weren't enough.
Well now, I'm heartbroken but I don't care.
'Cause I'm not done, for each trick I have a spare.
