I wish I were a Cowboy

Private Challenge
Hostess Whispermoon-Pam
I Wish I were Rowdy

I wish I were a Cowboy
I wish I were Rowdy
Rowdy as can be
Writing another Cowboy song
So all my friends can sing along
I wish I was with the coyote

On a moon lit night
Hearing her howl as I sang
My newly written song
I would Gently yodel in the night
Not too scare away
My friends at sight

We were in Wyoming
Wrestling up the cattle
Through the plains and the meadows
For our daily bread
And for some money to put away
So we can put roots down

With some fine lady
In a mining town
But for now I'm nineteen
And Lonesome out here in Wyoming
On a star filled night
Dreaming of what I will have some day
Little ones and a wife

We would be one happy family
My wife and five kids
Wrestling around the mill town
On Sunday the kids dressed up
In there Sunday best
Well thats the dreams for tomorrow

But for now reality just set in
We cooked our pork and beans
And had ourselves some wine
I'm Nineteen back in Wyoming
And I'm having a real good time
Looking for my Piece of the American pie
