many think of chocolate confections as a gift for valentines day
others think of dinner out and hurry on their way
soft lights and music, a toast with sparking wine
but my heart is filled with a single thought
the day i became yours and you became mine
some imagine cozy images beside a fire place
a strawberry dipped in chocolate, a smile on a lovers face
love is not measured by money spent or glitter for all to see
love is a gift shared by two a joy that lasts endlessly
