Keeper of the Flame
You never gave one thought to me,|
while all your wants consumed our time.
but now you've finally set me free,
as echos fade of constant whine.
Reflections of a love gone lost.
Drowning in your own desires.
I bear the burden of this cost.
This broken heart you left on fire.
Giving all, is who I am.
To see that smile, it's own reward.
So rare for me to draw this line.
Till taking turns to constant hoard.
Not even you can douse this flame.
It burns to hot, my passions deep.
To find the one and skip this game,
And smile each night, I fall asleep.
Challenge phrase: Your own desires
