Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Let Your Hair Down

What purpose
can the real world have
for purple cauliflowers,

for dreams
which can't eventuate
but while away dull hours?

Dreams of queens and periwinkles,
polka-dotted dingoes,

ginormous serves
of ice cream cake
and lanky green flamingoes.

Pretend at being dragonflies,
stretch out each tiny wing;

forget responsibilities,
have a care-free, childish fling.

reality will soon catch up,
you're an adult, after all...

kick your heels up,
let your hair down,
there's little danger should you fall.

BT solution:
pretend
