A Saviour In The Flesh

you don't want to hear the rain
as its dancing on your roof tonight

chilling drops on pretty flame
let my breath upon your ashes swirl

orange embers in the dark
I feel your pulse through this empty air

a kiss of neck ; ghosts disappear
lay my flesh across your heart

my fingers slide along your tears
as yours' swim through soft flow of hair

desperate scars on velvet skin
place your chest in slow, gentle arms

a primal figure comes to save
drink of lust and forget thy name

a crown of beauty I impart
as I lay my flesh across your heart
