Looking through a kaleidoscope
A symphony of color I do see
Greens, yellows, pinks and blues
At beck and call for you and me

With each slight twist and turn
The crystals take on a different shape
Creating a sight so beautiful
I stand here with mouth agape

I then begin to think just how much
Like life this kaleidoscope is
With every slight twist and turn
Our lives take on so many changes

Like the mirrors inside the chamber
Life's smoke and mirrors they do elude
What you see isn't always as it seems
Such as one's happiness or good mood

Reds, purples, blacks and turquoise
A symphony of color I do see
And a mystery in life at it's very best
At beck and call for you and me
