Enjoying Spring Fever

Setting on the porch swing, sipping lemonade,
day dreaming of planting a garden,
watching fireflies, and butterflies,
children flying kites, and wading
in water puddles, as songbirds sing.

Quiet reflections of apple blossoms and,
daffodils in bloom, gives me spring fever,
as a gentle breeze sends an aroma of
fresh baked apple pies to my nostrils
giving me a wonderful touch of spring.

A doe and fawn break my meditations,
as a glorious sunset comes into view,
all of natures harmony is mine to enjoy,
while I'm bird watching as they eat at the
bird feeder, and I sit on the porch swing.
