First Day Of Spring
Good day sunshine, was so good to see you again,
birds in the blue skies were happy to see you also.
Children were riding bikes, men riding motorcycles,
there were even a few sunbathing and walking too.
The first day of spring was a wonderful experience,
my first walk in the park was fabulous and great.
Squirrels were running to and fro hunting food,
while children played, at tables some people ate.
So it was a good day sunshine, the first day of spring,
we welcomed you with wide open arms today.
We saw flowers blooming, some getting ready to,
we're hoping it will continue to stay this way.
