The Crystal Chandelier

Myriads of colors shimmering
In tiny prisms of light we see
The crystal chandelier is lovely
But it is only made of glass

Glass that can be shattered
As someone's hopes and dreams
So delicate and so fragile
It's to be treasured for always

Always the constant dreamer
Be careful what you wish for
Try to be forever true to yourself
One day you may find the key

Key to living a life that's full
Being all that you can be
Contingent on your desires
They could number myriads

Myriads of colors shimmering
In tiny prisms of light we see
The crystal chandelier is lovely
But it is only made of glass
