Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Sore Finger Road

Turning the lights off

on yesterdays highway

Riding down Sore Finger Road

Arizonian sunrise arrives-

Filled with sagebrush metaphors

Each tumbleweed has traveled

On paths of wind-blown directions

Each seeking the path of least resistance

How far can you roll, baby?

Watch out for the dust storm

Of miniature dirt devils

Swirling the swirl

Gathering momentum

Of dirty dirt

Blink your eyes and it’s gone

Just like me…

An old dusty tumbleweed

With no roots…
