A Mother's Prayer.
There's power when I'm on my knees
In Prayer I believe
I tried my best to raise my kids
I really really did
I did it most of the time alone
As my husband was abusing us in our own home
Dear God I believe
My kids are a gift from you to me
All seven and I know the twins are ok as they are in heaven above
My kids I punished when needed but with love
I took them to church when I was allowed to
I taught them how to pray and that God would get us through
Now they are all over twenty one
My 4 daughters my 3 sons
They have to make there own choices I know
Dear God please be with them as you look down on earth here below
I can’t make the choices for them but I can pray
I pray they go the right way
Prayers I say day and night
Dear God a mothers prayers that her children really know wrong from right.
