Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Folkies of Falcon Ridge

Tomorrow I shall pitch my tent
In field where cows once came and went
And there my weekend will be spent
I am content. I am content.

The folkies all will gather round
The stage where talent shall abound.
There smiles exchanged and friendship found
On common ground. On common ground.

And 'neath the dance tent's large expanse
We'll have some fun; we'll spin and prance
And maybe even find romance.
We'll contra dance! We'll contra dance!

Then when the last set's said and done
Long past the setting of the sun
The music shall continue on.
It's just begun. It's just begun.

From tent to tent, across this site
Until the morn, throughout the night
Folks meet to sing and play and write
To my delight. To my delight.

I sit with eyes closed in my chair
While music floats on cool night air
The rhythm sounds from everywhere.
We've songs to share! We've songs to share!

And when it's time to part from here
To leave this place we hold so dear
We'll say, while grinning ear to ear:
“Until next year! Until next year!”
