Showers of Happiness

When happiness showers contentment
With troubles and worries washed away
These are the times I like the very best
Dancing on clouds singing praises all day

~

When sadness looms and misfortune leads
These times I do think of as stepping stones
If everything was right, t'would be no lessons
No lessons learned nor any wrongs to atone

~

Yet, we must experience both sides of the coin
It helps us grow and become a better person
The ups and downs keep life most interesting
In the end you'll know the rhyme or reason
