Impact

Photobucket

Photographs; snippets of this reality and
of what has now vanished 'neath the stars
My eyes focus to follow the moon, this beacon
perhaps a rim of hope will peek with answers

This
has
my
hope

This distance begins to fade images
of things that I used to see so clearly
Now just left with fragmented pictures
trying to hold onto memories desperately

Distance
that
left
memories

The evening confines this beacon of light
into the folds of midnights velvety hands
consumed and now hidden behind a veil
Answers collapse as do the stars above

beacon
folds
hidden
answers

Falling like teardrops with no where to go
plummeting to earth from the mystical sky
burning, yearning, destination of tragedy
Deadly ending brought forth by harsh impact

Teardrops
plummeting
destination
deadly

Those scenes I've seen before have left a mark
that will forever remind me of days yet to come
solitary behind a wall of emotions filling, building
soon to spill forth over their banks of strength

Scenes
come
emotions
spill
