The moonlit night is enchanting…
And there we are, just the two of us,
By the shore, enjoying the cold breeze
That makes the night more captivating.

Promises of sweet nothings,
Holding my hand, whispering to my ear,
“Won’t you join me in my quest?
To follow the moon to a place called paradise?”

My friend, my sweet, sweet friend,
How many times should you tell me your dream?
I paused, and grinned and told you once more,
“It will not work; you cannot tempt me at all,
For in my thoughts, in words and in action
I dare not disobey my Master’s command.”

Yes, no amount of dreams
No amount of sweet words
Can ever change reality
That for us to follow the moon
Is a result of your fearless imagination.
