Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Lonley Savior

My heart stops from my sudden hysteria
The storm has lost its paralyzing affect on me
But it's roar continues to rage on beyond my view
I take a deep breath, because that's all I have left

They reach for their belongings, scream in terror
But I know what is missing, their one vital error
All that brought them here, they left in the dust
In the ruins of their past, lies their savior

They left what was keeping them together
What told them to go on, when most couldn't endeavor
They didn't understand their pride would overcome them
When they left the savior there

They promised to keep each other in their protection
But when the time came to save themselves,
They left with no attention
To what they had done

Now, I'm sitting in the dust
Waiting for them to remember
To remember what they had left behind
Me
