a deafening silence i.n the looming dark
rocking upon rhythms s.lumber a-calling
tears falling droplets an o.chestral watermark
the curse of a nightmare r.emembrance still raining
whispers haunting tones of d.eath lits a spark
beckoning as lashes dare the e.yes to awakening
as disorder of slumber drumming r.eturns.... hark
