Don't Close your Eyes

Some where, some how, a dream, a wish,
Hoping some day that it might be,
Holding hands, barefoot in the sand,
An island vacation, for you and me,

Walking along, with our toes in the bubbles,
Or standing together in soft moonlight,
Sharing the fun, our hearts beat as one,
We count the stars as they come out at night,

Your hair gently waves as it blows in the wind,
As we stroll by the edge of the shore,
We’ve waited so long, for this time; all alone,
Finally letting our spirits free to soar,

The surf gently laps at our feet as we amble,
Waves softly break over this isle,
I see the love in your face, as we kiss and embrace,
Don’t close your eyes; I want to see the reflection of my smile.

Some where, some how, a dream, a wish,
Hoping some day that it might be,
Holding hands, barefoot in the sand,
An island vacation, for you and me.
