Always My Words
Assonance and allegory abet in the perpetration of my crimes.|
Laconically I roll out each story trapped in verse.
Whether they’re figments of muse cloth or glimpses of times,
Afloat in syllabic timbre or chopped up and terse.
Yearnings for love and life encapsulated, silkiness of rhymes,
Share one man’s thoughts, often cryptically diverse.
Many, who encounter these lines, know not how to respond
Yielding a sparsity of comments to contemplate on.
Whither-so-ever images may entice biased eyes and minds,
Over airy peaks and valleys low of stanza creation,
Rapacious in creation is this harbinger of formatted lines
Designed to leave the reader a different sensation.
Scribbler, though I may be, please share in my lyrical elation.
