Journey’s End

That speck of light in
the distance
must be a marker
of hope.

Though is seems
unreachable,
it strengthens the will
to proceed.

That speck of light in
the distance is
a beacon in the
dark of night.

It glows on like a
compass point
for this pilgrimage
built on faith.

The distance of that speck
of light,
grows smaller with each
new step.

Drawing he who must
give account
like the sweet song of
the psalms.

That speck soon becomes
a beacon
with a halo of
goodwill.

In the aura of its
incredible fire
we behold the peace,
a new home.
