Summer Wine

A summer wind plays
through lush, ripening grape vines,
stirring rich fragrance.

Oh that rich fragrance,
temptation to butterflies,
gay splash of colour.

Colours of summer...
emerald green, rich vermilion,
honey bees' haven.

Buzzing of fat bees;
as they plunder their harvest
a summer wind blows.
