Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Pure Joy

Fractured beams of light,
through prisms,
bounced on mirrors
placed just so,
pure amazement,
great enjoyment
in my captured rainbow.

I shared it
with darling Zekiel,
his reaction
was pure joy.
Blue eyes registered disbelief,
this kaleidoscope
was but a toy.

Like Tiddalik,*
cheeks all puffed up,
could not believe his eyes.
My love, like Zekiel's astonishment,
hides not in bland disguise.

* Tiddalik...
Legendary frog of Indigenous Australian
'Dreaming'...swallowed all the water in
the world and puffed up
to an immense size
