Trust In Him
I believe one of the hardest things to overcome
Is when you lose someone you love forever
Yet, that's life and the way it was meant to be
From this world, all their ties, He would sever
But then they will rejoice in His heaven above
And wait for us on that beautiful ultimate plain
Where angels sing and the streets are of gold
They feel your love and still yet feel no pain
From the moment of conception our time is set
No matter how hard you try, nothing will change
Our time of departure is written in His book
We've known that forever, nothing about it is strange
As you lay your weary head on your pillow at night
Trust in Him, and that He knows what He's done
After all He is our Father and loves us so much
He is our creator, He surely doesn't do this for fun
For everything there is a purpose and a reason
And in due time He will reveal them to us all
We are promised to see our loved ones again
I pray we are ready when our names He calls
