In His Wisdom

God, in His wisdom,
His infinite wisdom,
with knowledge of what would be needed,
made every animal
perfect, complete
and then, with creation proceded.

From earth, it is written,
God shaped the first man,
then noted His man was alone,
made then a woman to stand by man's side,
setting dubious prescedent to clone.

He gave man dominion
o'er all living things...
all went well until Adam was tempted,
banished from paradise,
fated to die,
hence pain an experience pre-empted.

Of all God's creation,
I love people best,
yes, I'm strange...pets are more trouble free.
But with idiosyncracies taken into account,
I'm reminded they're human,
like me.

Bonnie...I reckon your word is animal.
