Stolen Generations of The Aboriginals

Stolen generations, children ripped from the bosom
One hundred and fifty-five years of horror and fear
A sad consequence and the white man's cross to bear
No apologies could possibly wipe away a single tear

Can you even imagine having your babies taken away
Not knowing the what evers or would evers or if ever
So many questions that would never hear an answer
They were just stolen and taken away from you forever

Cries in the night, cries through the years, wondering
Never knowing what, in truth, had become of them
Truth be known tho, many were placed in institutions
Some became domestic servants for wealthy white men

Chastise the human who believes he is above all
They should suffer some kind of consequences
Tho their final punishment shall be at His mercy
Be there no reprieve for such inhumane offenses

My being a person of white classification, I am sorry
I say to the original people of Australia, the Aboriginal
With all my heart, for all the injustices put upon you
I pray for peace of mind and consolation for you all

What should be done with the Aborigines?

As a Christian, I abhor questions such as this!
These people who are indigenous to Australia
In fact, the first humans inhabiting that land
The same as the Indians who live in America
Attempted annihilation, torture, humiliation
The injustice placed upon these such people
Is something, in my heart, I can't understand
Especially when there is no rhyme or reason
Each a person and just like me, are they not?
Eats, sleeps, sits and stands, laughs and sings
Cries and sighs, talks and walks, dances, plays
Are they not of God's creation, tell me, huh?
I'd fear His wrath if I treated another like this
What gives others the right to deny existence?
The Aborigine, a peaceful and intelligent people
Walk, ever softly, their beloved Dreamland
