Facing the Real World

Mysterious fantasy and dreams
no longer hold their appeal,
we need to accept and enjoy
the things in life which are real.
Reality may not be filled with
everything the heart desires,
it may not contain luscious
love words and passions fires.
What it may supply is faithfulness,
complete loyalty, and dedication
with lots of true love, kindness,
and rewarding acclamation.

With humbleness, gratitude and praise
accept and appreciate what life gives,
pressing forward to a higher calling
thankful for all days He allows us live.
Don't *borrow trouble from the future
live in today's present whatever it holds,
enjoy what we have, don't worry about
what we don't, or what tomorrow unfolds.
Give credit where it is due, reach out a
helping hand to those who come our way,
creating sense of awareness of all mankind
and the problems they face every day.
