Get Rid Of The Advertisements

But Never Blue

Some, I know, use snail mail;
for me that's very rare.
No bulk post discounts for me
but not because I just don't care.

I'm in the mood to jot a note
to a chum, a pal, a mate,
a gift card to a dear friend,
a birthday greeting late.

I might add a poem part
or a joke (but never blue),
on pink or aqua stationery
ending with an 'I love you'.

I seal it with a farewell kiss,
dart to the PO with zeal
and hope you read what I intend,
knowing the care is real.
