Aussie Amphigory

please play video first...PLEASE?

I've never seen a 'spunky' monkey
but once or twice a chunky flunky;
nor have I seen a moose loose.
But once I saw a sheep leap
And not when I was courting sleep.
Though I have seen many a flat cat.

The sheep didn't make a quantum leap
Perhaps it was looking for Little Bo Peep
then, when it landed it fell in a heap
as the hill on which it fell was steep.

And the cats were flat
because when they run out onto the road
cats get like that!
SPLAT

With apology to cat lovers everywhere.
I have, on previous occasions,
explained the massive problem
we have with feral cats in Australia.

Amphigory

Amphigory is nonsensical poetry that seems to convey a meaning, but
often does not. The form often contains made-up words or phrases.
