So
many
lives wasted,
rancour tasted,
alcohol mis-used,
spouses, children abused.
Don't drive...you are not alert,
those you love are the ones you hurt.
Before life gets really out of line,
mix some judicious wisdom with the wine.
Alcoholic dad
drank all day with the culprit
who killed his first-born.
It's too late for 'Sorry' when the human's dead.
Don't drink and drive...try water instead.
You have no right to take a life,
somebody's mum or someone's wife.
Can you live with the blame,
the horror, the shame?
