Color My World

A box of crayons
Spread out before me.
Where do I begin.

Color my mornings
With sunshine-gold.
Keep the colors there within.

Color the raindrops
That may fall,
Silver with tones of blue.

All the vivid colors
Of the sunset
Remind me so of you.

Color springtime
With soft pastels,
To match the daffodils.

I'm saving all the red
The gold and crimson
For autumn's fancy frills.

White and silver-blue
For winter glamour.
Diamonds for the hills.

So many colors
Spice up my world.
The sky deep azure blue.

I'm still searching
For the very best tones,
To color my love for you.

Color my world
