Hey, did you get to see the one I penned
the other day?
No, you didn’t because I crumpled and
threw it away.
I’m not betrothed to every piece I write.
How about you?
If the story is weak or rhymes not tight,
first edited in blue.
When readability is challenged, to wit,
too turquoised,
these are times when words don’t fit,
lo, a crinkling noise.
The point to the story contained herein,
if you’ve coasted,
the one’s I like are the ones I’m sharing.
