THE BEAUTIFUL GOLDEN LION
From Brazil comes a monkey lion.
It`s the beautiful Golden Lion.
Why is this beautiful animal dying?
It`s because humans kill them.
But what for.
I wouldn`t want to eat one.
Would you?
Maybe for clothing,
but other material will do.
We also cut to many trees
from their home.
They have no protection
as they roam.
It`s how our bufflo became extenct.
Money hungry men went over the brink.
Now there are laws of protection.
We can enjoy animals with our affection.
The lion is beautiful in his golden coat.
The hunters need an awakening jolt.
They need to find another profession.
Or, maybe they need a jail session.

The Golden Lion Tamarin, distributed in Brazil
is a colorful, rare and endangered primate
in the world. By the recommendation
of Rotterdam Zoo, Antwerpen Zoo presented 10
Golden Lion Tamarins to the Shanghai Zoolobical
Park, which made the zoo become the first zoo
to exhibit the Golden Lion Tamarin in China.
Two babies were born in may of 1995.
To ensure them living comfortable,
animal keepers and technological staff
constructed an excellent environment
in the No.3 Primate Building, including dune,
wood, spider webs and nesting cages.
