The stage is set.
The tree is trimmed.
It looks so lovely
In its appointed corner.
Christmas lights glow softly.
Music turned down low.
Strains of Silent Night fill the air.
Our hearts are full of wonder.
Packages wrapped in pretty paper.
Ribbons of red and green and blue.
I need not wrap the most precious gift.
The gift of love from me to you.
Christmas snow glistens beautifully
Diamonds shimmer, silver-blue.
The story of the Christ Child's birth,
Is, again, brand new.
