Dis Old Retarded Libirated Womin
Bertha Lu was thankin she could retire
And do as she would please.
Well, she'll tell you sumpthin here n now
She aint havin no life of ease.
Her old man wants her in the kitchun
He wants to hear the rattle of pots and pans.
He wants her to be always openin
Too darn many of dem tin cans.
He wants her to keep dem vittles cookin
All day long on the top of the range.
He don't want her usin dat puter
Doin thangs so weird and strange.
He wants her be wearin an apron
Moppin and waxin all dem floors.
He wants her doin the laundry
And all dem udder much needed chores.
His breakfast she needs to be fixin
He wants eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy.
Ain't no time for her to be primpin her hair
He says it don't needs to be wavy.
Git rid of all dem city prissy ways
youes not out in da public now.
Yall needs to be abakin
and cookin me up mo chow.
Git way from dat thar puter
you don't need to larn dat stuff.
You been larned plenty already
And when is enuff of that stuff enuff.
Bertha Lu just stood thar growlin
And said, 'shut yor cotton pickin mouth Earl,
I don't needs you bossin me no mo.
I be a libirated partay girl.'
I'll do as I dang well please
I don't need yor stupid advace
I'm retarded now, you old buzzard
and I don't wants no mo of yor sass.
I'm a libirated woman now
So dunt be makin me feel so up tight
For a man that pesters this libirated woman
Will get NO PIECE AT NIGHT
