Savor every moment, just before dawn
When night like a shadow just moves on along
And casting its curtain of purple aside
It slides into dawn and lets the sun rise.

When God he looks down and the earth he awakes
He paints the dark sky with a gold and rose hue
And whispers good morning I' m waiting for you
Get up sleepy human get out of that bed
There's words to be written and poems to be read
There's work to be done and people to greet

So savor every moment so sweet and so new
Turn over lifes page and begin life anew
Follow your heart, have fun with the day
For you never know what you'll find on your way
For God's in his heaven, he's smiling at you
Rejoice and be glad beneath skies of blue
Live , laugh and love at work and at play
You've a present from heaven, a brand new bright day
