Written During Winter Blizzard

We are in the midst of a snow blizzard,
snow flakes are rapidly falling down,
also clinging to the tree branches,
while many vehicle accidents are found.

Roads are icy, dangerous to go out,
some roads are even closed today,
special news reports say stay inside,
unless you are riding your sleigh.

Some businesses and homes without electric,
others fearing this might also be their fate,
some are at work worried they can't get home
just too much now on everyone's plate.

Those retired can stay safe at home,
and pleased but worried about those,
they know who are out in this stuff,
I'm glad schools and churches are closed.

Nothing anyone can do, we can't change it,
but we can pray for God's help and care,
while encouragement on phone and web,
we may be able with others share.
