Her Halo of Parchment Roses
A pretty halo of parchment roses,
Especially made for our Kajuncutie
Thorns removed, delicate and beautiful
To adorn the head of this grand lady
She's an angel at The Starlite Cafe
To many, she is just known as Myrna
Though this site must seem like home to her
She hails from the great state of Louisiana
As Starlite began feeling down and blue
Sad, we've lost many key figures of late
And tho she's lost some in her family too
Still, little Myrna, stepped up to the plate
It has to be so overwhelming sometimes
She spends a lot of time on us, you see
This must be a defining moment for her
For she cares much for us and for poetry
So thank you, pretty Myrna, wear it well
This halo of parchment roses for you
The parchment signifies your love for writing
It's fragrance is the essence of our love so true
