Get Rid Of The Advertisements

The one who knew me

In childhood we were one and the same
full of life and the joys of simple things.
You watched me grow into the man I am
and you knew me like no other.

You were made of pure innocence
and you loved unconditionally.
Without words you comforted me
and were always at my side.

We grew together almost as one
yet no sins ever touched your life.
Your eyes held wisdom and pure love
and you knew me like no other.

We aged together but I more slowly
but your youth held on until the end.
Your soft compassion always present
and your love of the simple things.

My four legged friend always there
through anger and in joy.
My memories will always be of you
because you knew me like no other.

Dedicated to Foxy, My dog (DEC 1995-March 2011) - You were the best friend I ever had and I will always love you. R.I.P.
