Get Rid Of The Advertisements

pictures and things
your corner chair
sits, uninhabited.
there is still so much
you do not take up.
there are no more
mens' devotionals
in the table by your chair,
and no swelling evenings
of photos that will
never turn out,
and still, those others that will,
that will
fill up pages and the minds
of those yet to come.
eight years cut out of our lives,
like we snipped a face
out of a family photograph.
